This was the first track we started recording. We actually thought we were just going to demo it that day. But as the night wore on and we set up the Hammond Organ and recorded it full bore, screaming away in the masonic lodge, a lushy Minimoog solo and so on - we realised that this wasn't a demo anymore - we realised then that we'd just started the album.
Ned sings about leaving Gisborne when he was young to move to Wellington.

LYRICS
All without a sound
All without a sound
All without a sound
All without a sound
What he missed made him sing
and brought the tears to his eyes
and what made him sad is what he had
and that it was all left behind
The thoughts of strangers feared
The change of peers, his world turned upside-down
Frustration felt, and anger dealt
And all without a sound
All without a sound
All without a sound
All without a sound
All without a sound

This was the first album I ever listened to as a teenager, and it remains as impressive as I remember it being. I really can't recommend it enough, especially if you're into experimental spacey jazzy hip hop. asherarataki

The use of natural sounds in many of the tracks is truly amazing and lends to the atmospheric elements of this album, completely thought provoking. Aaron C. Hollis
